Unfinished Damn Business

After shoving this to the side for many years, after so many snags to the point of changing animation programs. I finally finished this 26 characters size artwork that is basically just an inside joke if you watch a let's player. Years ago the let's player had an art contest with a money prize and I wanted to participate. After two crashes from Adobe Animate, I had given up in finishing in time for the contest. I tried to do other data size saving techniques such as condensing the layers. However, there was always too much info to ever finish. No matter how close to finishing I get just before it would crash and take entire save datas with it. Adobe Animate had become a nuisance with rig animation as I wanted to do something special with that kind of animation. I found Toon Boom Harmony and used it ever since. It had felt freeing to use it to draw for years now, especially with storyboarding. It really feels freeing to have this holdover be done with for good. There are some missing things that I wanted to do originally and some obvious mistakes but the willingness to fix until it was really complete died with my patience. I'm glad of one thing. This big project showed that Adobe Animate couldn't keep up with me which led me to a great program that will allow me my ambition and passion to actually work with me instead of dragging me down. Expect many storyboards/animatics and my rigged animations after that as I still have a lot to learn about Toon Boom on the animation side. No one exactly knows or has shown how to do the type of animation I want to do. So it's likely I have to come up with the method myself. Unlike before, it actually is possible this time around if I'm clever enough.

Big Project Failure

I had a handful of characters left but history repeats itself and the data was lost, even in the recovery file. No matter how I open the file it's lost for good. I have even been converting the charac
